COLOMBO: Sri Lanka's national consumer price inflation in March was at 2.8 percent from a year earlier, easing from 3.2 percent hit in the previous month, the Department of Census and Statistics said on Monday.
On a month-on-month basis, consumer prices fell 0.7 percent in March, from a 1.7 percent fall in the previous month.
The 12-month moving average of inflation, for which data is available since December 2015, was 6.7 percent in March, easing from 7.2 percent in the previous month.
