KARACHI: Gold moved up by Rs 171 to close at Rs 47,142 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday as its international price improved to $ 1,615 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also went up by Rs 200 to Rs 55,000.
Silver closed unchanged at Rs 848.57 per 10 grams.
