Protest staged against airstrike in Kunduz

RAWALPINDI: A rally was staged against attack on a Madrassa in Kunduz province of Afghanistan in which several people, mostly children, were killed and wounded.
According to details, a protest rally was held at Rawat Friday, where the people belonging to different walks of life participated. The participants of the rally were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the attack.
Addressing the rally, the speakers said innocent people were killed in the air strike on the seminary in Afghanistan. They added that majority of the dead and wounded were children which was a condemnable act.
The speakers also demanded the United Nations (UN) to form a fact-finding committee to investigate the incident.
