LAHORE: Senator and Chairman Pak-China Institute Mushahid Hussain Syed has said the government has decided to initiate a number of measures to apprise the international community about the grave human rights violations by Indian occupation forces in Kashmir.
Talking to APP, he said that special envoys would be sent to selected world capitals to highlight Indian atrocities in the held Valley.
He said that the world bodies like the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, and other human rights organisations would also be approached in this regard.
He said Pakistanis stood shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their struggle for the right to self-determination.
Mushahid said the government, people and all political parties were united on the Kashmir issue and would continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri brethren.
Meanwhile rallies, functions and walks were held in different parts of the country as well as by Pakistanis and Kashmiris living around the globe to expose Indian atrocities and highlight the need for peaceful resolution of the longstanding dispute.
