PARIS: France announced Friday that it would offer development loans and aid worth 550 million euros ($675 million) to Lebanon at a international donors conference in Paris.
"France will announce a major effort, reflecting the level of our ambitions in Lebanon, of loans worth 400 million euros at preferential rates and 150 million euros in aid," Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said at the opening at the conference.
