HYDERABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Sindh President MNA Dr Arif Alvi Wednesday alleged that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was not taking action against massive corruption of the Sindh government.
"The NAB was silent over the corruption of (Pakistan Peoples Party) government, he alleged while talking to the media here.
Alvi urged the NAB to begin taking actions in Sindh without further delay as its lack of action would let the corrupt politicians to contest the upcoming general elections.
Talking about the alleged corruption in the ongoing wheat procurement in Sindh, for which Rs 45.5 billion had been earmarked, he said widespread reports of corruption were surfacing from the province and asked the NAB to launch an inquiry in that regard.
