Man killed, seven injured in Quetta firing

QUETTA: Unknown gunmen shot dead a man and injured seven persons at Nawan Killi area of provincial capital on Friday.

According to police sources, the victims were on way to somewhere when armed assailants opened fire at them and fled from the scene.

As a result, one Abdul Wali died on the spot while seven other received injuries.

The body and the injured were rushed to civil hospital where the injured victims treatment were started.

The injured were identified as Naik Muhammad, Abdul Kabir, Noor Muhammad, Zakir, Muhammad Asif, Muhbullah and ainuddin.

Police cordoned off the entire area and started investigation.
