Christian community observes 'Good Friday' in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Like others parts of the world Christian community observed 'Good Friday' throughout the country with religious fervor and enthusiasm on Friday.

In Hyderabad the main congregations held at St Philips and St Thomas Cathedral.

The day was marked by the customary three-hour Good Friday services, that included scripture reading, hymn singing, and sermons.

Prayers were also offered for the advancement and solidarity of the country and for the prosperity of its people.
