RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 25,208.51 points with a positive change of 140.05 and volume of 190,650,000 shares. High and Low were 25,276.49 and 25,072.17 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 12 were up, 17 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 296,604,090 shares. Total companies traded were 375 of which 185 were positive, 168 were negative and 22 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 52,892,800 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 52,178,000 shares.
