ISTANBUL: Turkey's economy might exceed this year's official growth target of 5.5 percent, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci said on Thursday.
Gross domestic product surged 7.4 percent last year.
"Turkey is advancing along a comprehensive and sustainable growth path and it has the potential and determination to meet and even exceed the 2018 medium-term programme growth target," Zeybekci said in a statement.
