DMC Korangi Chairman orders steps to deal with hot weather

KARACHI: Chairman District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Korangi, Syed Nayyer Raza, has appealed to people to protect themselves from hot weather.

According to a statement issued here on Tuesday, Syed Nayyer Raza issued a heat alert to all the departments of DMC Korangi and the DMC-run hospitals and dispensaries to make arrangements for the possible cases of heat-stroke.

This he said during a visit in Shah Faisal, Malir, Korangi and Landhi areas where he reviewed cleanliness conditions. He said that all the garbage should be lifted at the earliest to make the district clean.
