RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 24,910.19 points with a positive change of 62.09 and volume of 116,536,300 shares. High and Low were 25,116.37 and 24,845.56 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 14 were up, 13 were down and 3 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 235,587,240 shares. Total companies traded were 378 of which 163 were positive, 190 were negative and 25 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 31,842,000 shares. It was followed by Food and Personal Care Products with a total traded volume of 31,616,430 shares.
