GILGIT: The Giligit Baltistan Government has brought significant improvement in the infrastructure of education sector by providing all necessary resources to public sector schools to ensure congenial atmosphere to the students.
This was stated by Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman during his surprise visit to the government girls primary school Haiderpora Gilgit.
The CM inspected the school and completed projects including renovation and beautification of class rooms, electric fans, energy savers, carpets and others uplift schemes. These schemes were completed as per the directions of the Chief Minister.
The CM said the government has brought revolution in education sector by increasing its annual budget significantly compare to previous regime and infrastructure in public schools were also improved.
Resultant, the ratio of students in Govt schools enhanced and confidence of masses were restored.
The CM appreciated the performance of Secretary Education and district administration in this regard.
