Govt making efforts for promotion of sport activities in Balochistan

QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly Speaker Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani said players are assets of our country while provincial government was trying to promote sports activities and bring talents forward.
According to handout issued here on Monday, she said this while talking at a ceremony of holding Women Hockey match final at Government Girls College Cantonment which was organized by Balochistan Women Hockey Association in connection with Pakistan Day.
Speaker Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani said government is utilizing all available resources to enhance sport grounds and make successful them and green in the province and adding that players are identification of country and province.
“The player will use their abilities at each platform for betterment of country and they can tell the world that we are a decent and talented nation “, she added.
She said teacher’s role is very important for providing education in each society but today we have reached the highest level due to tremendous work and character of the teacher.
Speaker said students are being provided for best environment in various institutions, but it is their responsibility to take full advantage of these opportunities for improving their quality education in province.
On the occasion, Principal Noor Jahan highlighted curriculum and non-curriculum activities in the college and said syllabus including health and other activities are educated.
Balochistan Speaker appreciated the principle and teachers and assured the principle that she would cooperate with them for development of college.
Earlier, Speaker Assembly kicked stroke and started the final match. The final match was played between Women Hockey Chiltan and Women Hockey Zarghoon teams which was won by Zarghoon team.
Later, Speaker Raheela Hameed Khan distributed trophy winner teams and best performance of players.
Social activist Suriya Allah Din, teachers, large number of girl’s students and others were present on the occasion.
