Pakistan former captain Shahid Afridi has jumped on the bandwagon of skipper Sarfraz Ahmed and Moin Khan, demanding that those players should not be handed over contracts who are not willing to visit Pakistan.

Speaking to the media, Afridi was of the opinion that foreign players not visiting the country is not beneficial for the franchise and we need to convey the message that Pakistan is a secure country.

The superstar all rounder and Karachi Kings talisman also demanded that Indian players should be included in the next edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). No player from the neigboring country has yet been included to play in the PSL.

While praising the franchise management, Afridi further said that for the last two years, the Karachi Kings performed better and it was a great pleasure for him to work with Karachi Kings.

The president of Karachi Kings said that franchises only get the benefits when new players are given the opportunity, while each franchise should have its own ground and academy.

Earlier, Pakistan cricket captain Sarfraz Ahmed had also said that those foreign players who backed out of their commitment of visiting Pakistan should not be a part of players draft of the next edition of the PSL.

Whereas, Moin Khan too expressed similar sentiments after his side Quetta Gladiators suffered a one-run loss to Peshawar Zalmi in the first eliminator of PSL.
