OSTERSUND: Swedish inflation is still at target, central bank Deputy Governor Henry Ohlsson - who was alone in voting for a rate hike at the latest policy meeting - said on Monday.
"Looking at the underlying trend, it is still my assessment that we are at the target," Ohlsson told reporters when asked about the latest inflation figures after a speech in the Northern Swedish town Ostersund.
Swedish annual inflation in February stood at 1.7 percent in February, unchanged from January and below the Riksbank's forecasts for the third month in a row.
The central bank targets 2 percent CPIF inflation.
