CM GB rejects media reports about his summoning by NAB

GILGIT: Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman has strongly rejected media reports as baseless that the National Accountability Bureau(NAB) has summoned him to appear before it.

In a statement issued here on Monday, the CM GB said such baseless and false news could be wishful thinking of retrogressive forces that could not see the region as prosperous and developed.

It added the chief minister had undertaken all development projects in the region on merit and transparency was ensured thought the process.

The statement said that chief minister kept his hands clean and respected the country’s institutions in high esteem besides considering himself accountable.
