Punjab govt provides Rs1bn funds for X-Rays machines, Shaheed Saifur Rehman hospital: CM GB
GILGIT: The Punjab government has always extend possible support for up-gradation of health sector, providing Rs 1 billion for procurement of modern medical equipments and establishment of Saheed Saifur Rehman hospital, says chief minister Giligt Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman.
Talking in meeting which was held on issues regarding up-gradation of hospitals, the chief minister said President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) hahbaz Sharif would lay foundation stone for the hospital where the Punjab government had provided Rs 1 billion for purchasing of latest X-Ray machines .
He also directed he health department to compelted paperwork and present report to grant status provincial hospital to the District Headquarters Hospital(DHQ) and the city hospital to divisional hospital.
He also said that hospitals in Skardu and Chillas would be granted status of divisional hospitals to provide best health facilities to people of the area.
