TIRANA: Albania's trade gap narrowed by 8.2 percent to 22 billion leke ($207.78 million) in February 2018 from the same month in 2017, and widened 3 percent from the previous month of January, the Institute of Statistics said on Monday.
The trade deficit for January and February 2018 was 43 billion leke ($406.12 million).
Albania exported 21.5 percent more in the first two months of 2018, the Institute added.
It listed construction materials and metals, textiles and shoes, and food, drinks and tobacco as the sectors which contributed most, but noted exports from all groups were up.
