PESHAWAR: Dr Muhammad Irshad, Advisor to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Industries and Commerce, inaugurated three new industrial units at Nowshera Economic Zone Extension during his first official visit to the zone after assuming office.

The units represent an investment of approximately Rs. 400 million and are expected to generate up to 500 direct and indirect jobs.

The units include Mani Foods, with an investment of Rs. 200 million and employment potential of up to 400 jobs; Soorat Khan Plastic, which will produce recycled plastic pellets; and Dynamic Minerals Processing Unit, which processes locally sourced minerals for industrial use and export to the UAE.

The latter two units represent a combined investment of Rs. 200 million and are expected to generate up to 100 jobs.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Muhammad Irshad emphasised the need for timely decisions, improved industrial services and a business-friendly environment to encourage further investment.
