GILGIT: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) successfully concluded a four-day seminar series titled “Economic Empowerment of Women in Gilgit-Baltistan: Promoting Women’s Entrepreneurship, Trade Development, and Inclusive Economic Growth.”

Held from August 25 to August 28, 2026, the outreach initiative spanned multiple districts, including Gilgit, Nagar, Hunza, and Ghizer.

The program brought together more than 200 women entrepreneurs representing diverse economic sectors, along with key representatives of regional trade bodies and students from relevant academic backgrounds.

Led by Master Trainer Nazir Ali, Deputy Director at TDAP, the training sessions covered four core capacity-building modules:

Module 1: Women’s Economic Empowerment – Policy Framework and Emerging Opportunities

Module 2: Entrepreneurship Development and Business Growth

Module 3: Trade Development and Market Access
