LAHORE: Enforcement teams of the Punjab Food Authority carried out a raid on the warehouse of a renowned superstore on Jia Bagga Road and recovered 4,730kg of expired food products which were discarded, while the packing warehouse was sealed until corrective measures are implemented.

Food safety teams discarded 1,500kg of chickpea lentils, 620kg of gram flour (besan), 500kg of porridge (dalia), 500kg of flour, 800kg of premium candies, 500 litres of cooking oil, 200kg of dry fruits and 110kg of wheat flour after recovering the expired stock from the warehouse.
