LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed grief over the death of renowned cartoonist Shaukat Mahmood Maxim.

The chief minister extended her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.

She said that Maxim had given a new dimension to visual and pictorial journalism. She added that Shaukat Mahmood had also attained excellence in Islamic architecture and the art of cartooning.
