Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs455,236 after a gain of Rs100 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs389,685 after it increased by Rs85, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
APGJSA did not issue gold and silver rates on Tuesday as they announced a protest against an alleged raid on jewellery shops.
On Monday, gold price per tola reached Rs455,136 after a gain of Rs10,800.
The international rate of gold was up by $1 to reach $4,328 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver decreased by Rs6 to reach Rs7,503 per tola.
