ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Privatisation (CCoP).
The Committee reviewed progress on the steps required to complete the first closing of the divestment of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL). It considered matters related to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and requests submitted by the purchaser under the transaction framework. Necessary decisions were taken to further advance the privatisation process.
The meeting was attended by the Ministers for Power, Commerce, Advisor to PM on Privatisation, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretaries Privatisation, Planning, Cabinet, and senior officials from concerned ministries.
