Turkish Land Forces Commander, CDF discuss regional security

ISLAMABAD: Commander of Turkish Land Forces General Metin Tokel called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Thursday, where both sides discussed regional security, professional cooperation and ways to further strengthen bilateral defence relations between Pakistan and Türkiye.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Tokel was presented a guard of honour by a smartly turned-out Pakistan Army contingent upon his arrival at GHQ, Rawalpindi. During the meeting, the two military leaders exchanged views on matters of mutual professional interest, evolving regional security dynamics and avenues for enhanced defence collaboration.
