KARACHI: Former staff photographer of Business Recorder, Zubair Ahmed Khan, passed away on Monday after a protracted illness.
Zubair Ahmed Khan had served at Business Recorder for over four decades as a photographer, capturing key political, economic, and social developments during his long association with the newspaper.
Zubair Ahmed Khan’s appointment was made prior to the launch of the Business Recorder newspaper in April 1965.
He was widely respected among colleagues for his professional commitment and dedication to photojournalism.
He is survived by eight children.
His funeral prayers were offered at Noor Masjid in FB Area, Karachi, where a large number of colleagues, friends, and well-wishers attended to pay their final respects.
The management and staff of Business Recorder expressed grief over his demise and extended condolences to the bereaved family, praying for the departed soul’s forgiveness and elevation in the hereafter.
