ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said he would take up the prevailing political situation in Kashmir with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to resolve the issue through consultation within the constitutional and parliamentary framework.
Bilawal expressed these views while chairing a meeting of the PPP Azad Jammu and Kashmir parliamentary party at Zardari House, Islamabad, on Sunday. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reviewed the prevailing political situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed that political matters should be resolved through dialogue, adding that he would meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the issue and that solutions should be sought through consultation within the legislative framework.

The meeting was also attended by PPP AJK political affairs in-charge and Central President of the PPP Women’s Wing, Faryal Talpur.
During the session, participants discussed in detail the political situation in Azad Kashmir, while members of the parliamentary party briefed the leadership on the current developments and presented their suggestions regarding the ongoing situation.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Faryal Talpur listened to the recommendations of the parliamentary members and held consultations on the overall political landscape in Azad Kashmir.
Expressing concern over the situation in the region, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the PPP was founded on the Kashmir cause and has always prioritized the resolution of issues faced by the Kashmiri people.
