KARACHI: Alkhidmat Karachi has organized a large-scale Beach Clean Drive at Sea View on the occasion of World Environment Day, drawing participation from thousands of volunteers across the city.
The campaign brought together students from schools, colleges, and universities, along with children enrolled in Alkhidmat’s Orphan Care Program and volunteer partners. The drive aimed to promote environmental responsibility and highlight the importance of keeping residential areas, cities, and coastal zones clean to support a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
Volunteers were mobilized across the beach to collect plastic waste and other litter. The collected material was gathered at designated points and disposed of through safe and organized methods. The activity was carried out in coordination with local administration and social welfare officials, who also visited the site to observe the arrangements and participation.
