PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtun-khwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic terrorist incident in Quetta that resulted in the loss of precious lives and injuries to innocent people.
In a letter addressed to Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti, the Chief Minister extended heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies on behalf of the Government and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the bereaved families of the victims.
Muhammad Sohail Afridi reaffirmed complete solidarity with the Government and people of Balochistan during this difficult time, stating that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stand shoulder to shoulder with their brothers and sisters in Balochistan in the face of this tragedy.
The chief minister noted that terrorism remains a common challenge threatening the peace and stability of the entire nation. He paid tribute to the sacrifices rendered by the people, police, and security forces of Balochistan in the fight against terrorism, describing their contributions as highly commendable and worthy of lasting respect and honour.
