KARACHI: All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) to promote professional training, technical education and internship opportunities in customs clearing and forwarding fields.
Under this agreement, both organizations will jointly work to equip young individuals with practical knowledge, professional skills, and industry-oriented training required for successful careers in customs clearance, freight forwarding, international trade documentation, port operations, and allied sectors.
Through this initiative, NAVTTC will facilitate structured vocational and technical training programs, while APCAA will provide industry linkage, practical exposure, internship opportunities, and guidance through its nationwide network of customs agents and associated stakeholders.
APCAA Chairman Arshad Khurshid said this collaboration would open new avenues for the younger generation and help bridge the gap between education and practical industry requirements. He further said that APCAA remains committed to playing its role in national development, trade facilitation, and professional capacity building of the youth.
