Pakistan conducts training fire of Fatah-4 weapon system

Pakistan on Thursday successfully conducted a training launch of the indigenously developed “Fatah-4” ground-launched cruise missile, the military’s media wing said.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the launch was carried out by the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command to validate the missile’s technical parameters and enhance the operational preparedness of troops.
The military said the Fatah-4 missile system is equipped with advanced avionics and modern navigational aids, enabling it to engage long-range targets with high precision.
“The training fire was conducted to enhance operational efficiency of the troops and validate technical parameters of various sub-systems incorporated for improved accuracy and enhanced survivability,” the ISPR said in a statement.

Senior officers of the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command, as well as scientists and engineers from the developing agency, witnessed the launch.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu congratulated the teams involved in the successful training fire.
They appreciated the technical expertise, dedication and commitment of the scientists, engineers and troops who contributed to the successful launch of the F-series missile, the statement added.
