Pak Suzuki Motor Company has launched the Suzuki Fronx XUV in Pakistan, with prices starting at Rs5.99 million.

In November 2025, the company unveiled Suzuki Fronx at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS), announcing plans to expand its product portfolio with the first locally assembled vehicle in a new category, XUV.

According to the company, the Suzuki Fronx comes equipped with “high practicality features that elevates consumer’s everyday driving into a refined experience, including parking sensors, rear camera, push start, cruise control, and intuitive steering controls”.

“It offers a 9-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice command functionality. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with ESP, and Hill Hold Control on the HEARTECT platform. Powered by a 1.5L K-Series engine with 6-speed Transmission,” Pak Suzuki said in a statement.

The introductory price of Suzuki Fronx will be effective from today (May 7, 2026).

Prices:

  • Suzuki Fronx GL MT - Rs5,999,999 (Rs5.99mn)
  • Suzuki Fronx GL 4AT - Rs6,099,999 (Rs6.09mn)
  • Suzuki Fronx GLX 6AT HYBRID (Mono-Tone) - Rs6,299,999 (Rs6.29mn)
  • Suzuki Fronx GLX 6AT HYBRID (Two-Tone) - Rs6,374,999 (Rs6.37mn)

Aamir Shaffi, Executive Officer Marketing and Sales at Pak Suzuki, described Fronx as a strategic entry into the new category.

“Designed for modern, style-driven customers, it offers bold design and aspirational appeal.”

He maintained that the vehicle was thoughtfully positioned to address a clear gap in the market, delivering a “compelling blend of style, performance, and value for customers ready to upgrade”.

“Aligned with the rising global SUV trend, it presents an upgrade option for premium hatchback and sedan users to step into the global trend, empowering them to elevate their lifestyle while seamlessly continuing their mobility journey,” Shaffi said.

Speaking to Business Recorder, auto expert Usman Ansari termed the launch a good omen as he believes the time of sedan and hatchback has passed and now customers-cum-people love to drive SUV or XUV or jeep.

“When it comes to prices of three models or variants of Suzuki Fronx, they are way more reasonable according to the local market,” he said.

Ansari said the vehicle was launched in India around two years back. “This vehicle is more successful with safety features,” he claimed.

Meanwhile, auto analyst Muhammad Sabir Shaikh said Chinese and South Korean automakers have reshaped consumer preferences by shifting focus from traditional sedans and hatchbacks to SUVs and crossovers, which are increasingly seen as more stylish.

“Japanese carmakers are now following the trend, adapting their lineups to meet changing customer demand,” Shaikh said.
