ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Jordan on Sunday reaffirmed their commitment to regional peace and stability, with both sides emphasising the importance of dialogue and diplomacy amid ongoing tensions in the region.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.
During the call, the Jordanian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and consistent efforts to promote peace, dialogue, and regional stability in the current situation.

Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining stability by fostering positive engagement among all parties and underscored the importance of resolving disputes through diplomacy and negotiations.
The two leaders also highlighted the significance of strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Jordan and reaffirmed their resolve to continue cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral forums. They agreed to remain in close contact in the future.
