KARACHI: Pakistan Army has invited applications for recruitment to various posts, including soldier clerks, nursing and other trades, with registration open until May 30, 2026.

The announcement was shared during a briefing by representatives of the Pakistan Army Selection and Recruitment Centre at a meeting held at the Commissioner

Karachi Office, attended by district administration and local government officials, said officials on Sunday.

The meeting, chaired by Additional Commissioner Karachi-I Ghulam Mehdi Shah, was attended by Colonel Zaki Aslam, Major Zeeshan Ali and other officials. Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and municipal officers joined via video link.

The meeting focused on increased outreach through posters and banners at public places, markets and institutions to provide opportunity to maximum number of youth to join the armed forces under transparent and merit-based recruitment mechanism.

Colonel Zaki Aslam told participants that candidates holding domiciles of Karachi, Thatta, Sujawal and Lasbela (Balochistan) are eligible to apply for positions including soldier clerks, nursing staff, sanitary workers and other trades.

He said the age limit for applicants is between 17½ and 23 years, with minimum height requirements of 5 feet 6 inches for soldiers and 5 feet 4 inches for clerks. A relaxation of two inches in height is available for candidates from Balochistan.

Applicants can register online at the official website or visit the Pakistan Army Selection and Recruitment Centre on Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, to complete the process in person.

Officials said a large number of vacancies are available, adding that the recruitment drive aims to provide equal opportunities to all eligible candidates regardless of religious or ethnic background.
