KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 129,605 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 57,114 tonnes of Import Cargo and 72,491 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs. ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 57,114 tonnes Comprised of 22,429 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 224 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 4,738 tonnes of Canola, 3,723 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds & 26,000 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 72,491 tonnes Comprised of 48,245 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 121 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 16,352 tonnes of Clinkers, & 7,773 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 04 ships, namely, Indus Dolphin, Zhong Gu Kun Ming, Calista & Captain John berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 06 ships namely, Cspc Leo, Marine Ista, Hmm Colombo, City Island, Veniz 1 & Dp World Jeddah sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Stephanie-C and Propel Wisdom left the port on Wednesday morning, while three more ships, Ocean Helios, Elina-II and Lucky Chem are expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 117,801 tones comprising 117,777 tones imports cargo and 24 export cargo carried in 1,950 Containers (1,950 TEUs Imports & 0 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours. There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Galaxy Gas, African Raptor and CD Fortune & three more ships, Spirit of Bertram, Zhong Gu Kun Ming and APL Antwerp with LPG, Coal and Containers are expected to take berth’s EVTL, MW-4, PIBT and QICT on Wednesday 8th April, 2026.
