HAMBURG: A group of animal feed importers in Thailand is believed to have purchased around 60,000 metric tons of animal feed wheat expected to be sourced from Australia in a tender which closed on Thursday, April 2, European traders said on Monday.
It was believed to have been bought at an estimated $274 a ton cost and freight (c&f) liner out. The seller was said to be Australian grain trading house CBH. Shipment was believed to be in June. The group sought offers for a range of shipment positions in June, July, August and/or September, traders said.
Reports reflect assessments from traders and further estimates of prices and volumes are still possible later.
