796 Afghan Taliban operatives killed so far: info minister
- Says 286 check posts have been destroyed, while 44 others captured
At least 796 Afghan Taliban operatives have so far been killed and over 1,043 others injured during the ongoing Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq.
According to the latest updates shared by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on his X handle on Sunday, 286 check posts have been destroyed, while 44 others captured by Pakistan’s security forces.
Additionally, 249 tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns have been destroyed during the operation.
Eighty-one terrorists and terrorist support infrastructure locations across Afghanistan have also been effectively targeted by air.
Tarar also mentioned that an attempt to physically attack a border post in Ghulam Khan Sector by Afghan Taliban and Fitna Al Khwarij was comprehensively foiled and their 37 members were killed and over 80 were injured on the night of last Thursday and Friday.
