KARACHI: The Met Office on Tuesday forecast windstorms, thunderstorms, and rain for several districts of Sindh and Karachi Division from Thursday through April 4, advising the public and farmers for causation.
A westerly wave is forecast to enter the southwestern parts of Balochistan on April 1, persisting until April 4. Under its influence, several districts of Sindh with Karachi Division are expected to experience windstorms, thunderstorms, and rain, with isolated heavy falls and hailstorms from April 2 to April 4. This weather activity will occur with occasional gaps during this period.
The system is expected to affect a wide range of districts across the province, including Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, Kashmir, Jacobabad, Kambar Shahdadkot, Sukkur, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Mitiari, Thatta, Badin, Tharparker, Umerkot, and the Karachi Division.
