Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited (HMB) announced key appointments on Tuesday.
The bank shared the information in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.
The bank said that Khurram Shahzad Khan was reappointed as president and chief executive officer for another three years.
As per information available, Khan is a seasoned banking professional with over three decades of diverse experience across corporate banking, risk and credit management, as well as investment and transactional banking.
Khan has previously led the Corporate and Transaction Banking Group of the bank and served as a member of the Central Management Committee since 2018.
Khan has also held various senior management positions, including Chairman of the Board of Directors of Standard Chartered Modaraba and Standard Chartered Leasing, and Director at HABIBMETRO Financial Services (HMFS).
Khan holds an MBA from the University of Rochester, USA.
The notice further said Mohamedali R. Habib was re-elected as chairman, effective March 30, 2026.
Habib Metropolitan Bank was incorporated in Pakistan as a public limited company in 1992. The bank is a subsidiary of Habib Bank AG Zurich, Switzerland, which is the holding company of the bank.
