KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 120,232 Tons of cargo comprising 51,803 Tons of import cargo and 68,429 Tons of export cargo during last 24hrs ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 51,803 Tons comprised of 30,662 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 5,867 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 205 Tons of Canola, 5,071 Tons of Dap, 4,092Tons of Rock Phosphate and 5,861 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 68,429 Tons comprised of 40,031 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 542 Tons of Bulk Cargo,23, 268 Tons of Clinkers, 1,388 Tons of Rice and 3,200 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
CURRENTLY BERTH:
Zhuo Yue Yuan Yang, One Recognition, Elm Galaxy, Yong Chang Shun Hang and Marine Ista on Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
While Empress, Karina Danica, GFS Giselle, Perdator, GSL Christen and Sea Hunter Sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim:
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, Nikolas-D, MD-23, Al-Hamla and Astro Merope left the port on today morning, while two more ships, Banglar Agrajatra and CMA CGM Rimbaud are expected to sail on 4th March, 2026.
Cargo volume of 136,190 tonnes, comprising 102,070 tonnes imports cargo and 34,120 export cargo carried in 1,011 Containers (50 TEUs Imports and 961 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Himalia, Scion Charlotte, Navigator Celtic and Navigator Aries and two more ships, Hansa Europe and CMA CGM Rimbaud carrying Palm oil, Canola Seed, LPG and Container expected to take berth at LCT, FAP, EVTL, SSGC and QICT on 4th March, 2026.
