LAHORE: The Punjab government is promoting interfaith and inter-Muslim unity throughout the province and all schools of thought are viewed with respect. All sections of society are standing behind the law enforcement agencies for the security and survival of Pakistan.
This was revealed in a meeting held on the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister and Chairman Cabinet Committee on law and order Khawaja Salman Rafique.
The meeting reviewed arrangements regarding Youm Ali (QAW).
On this occasion, Fateha was also offered for Syed Ayatollah Khamenei and other martyrs. The scholars were led by Member of the Islamic Nazriati Council Dr. Mufti Intikhab Ahmed Noori. The meeting discussed the security arrangements for Youm Ali Karamullah Wajho (QAW) and the law and order situation across the province.
Khawaja Salman Rafique said on this occasion that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the police and all other relevant institutions, to ensure foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of Youm Ali Karamullah Wajho. Extraordinary security arrangements will be made on the occasion of Youm Ali Karamullah Wajho. All resources are being utilized to establish peace across Punjab. Mutual understanding and unity are most needed today for establishing peace. Peace committees are fully prepared throughout Punjab during Ramadan. Scholars are very important and respected members and pillars of society. The role of scholars is very effective for reforming the society, he added.
On this occasion, the scholars have said that they are cooperating with the Punjab government for the establishment of peace and order and mutual understanding and unity. Consultation with scholars of all schools of thought is a good move by the Punjab government. Prayers were offered for the development, security and prosperity of the country and nation.
