Dar has been in constant touch with his counterparts in Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia over the past few days with a view to raising a united voice on post-conflict Gaza during the BoP meeting. Despite reservations from certain elements in the opposition over Pakistan’s joining the BoP, the Foreign Office said that Pakistan joined the body in good faith and that it, along with several other Islamic and Arab countries, will raise a collective voice on the issue of Palestine.
