ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction on Monday over Moody’s decision to assign a “stable” outlook to Pakistan’s banking sector.
The prime minister lauded the efforts of the country’s economic team, acknowledging their hard work in navigating Pakistan through challenging economic conditions.
“The stability of Pakistan’s economy is on the path of growth,” he said in a statement, adding that the positive ratings from international agencies were a clear indication of the correct direction Pakistan’s economy was taking.

He also commended the economic team’s relentless efforts in ensuring economic stability and progress.
“The dedication of our economic team is commendable, and they deserve recognition for their tireless work,” he stated.
Sharif expressed confidence that, with the blessings of Allah, Pakistan’s dream of economic development was on the verge of becoming a reality.
