CM for strict enforcement of traffic laws

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in traffic accidents caused by fog and other reasons in various cities of the province.

In a statement, the chief minister extended condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families. She also expressed grief over the death of three members of a family after a tractor-trolley overturned on Pasrur–Daska Road. The CM directed the administration to ensure strict enforcement of traffic laws and urged citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during foggy conditions.

Emphasising road safety, she said every human life was extremely valuable and caution on roads was essential.
