KARACHI: Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has successfully facilitated the launch of AirSial’s operations at Quetta International Airport.

According to details, the airline commenced its Karachi-Quetta service on Friday with three weekly flights scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering enhanced travel options for passengers in the region.

The inaugural flight, AirSial 161, operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft, touched down at Quetta International Airport at 3:15 PM carrying 180 passengers.

The return flight departed for Karachi at 4:32 PM with 199 passengers on board.

An inauguration ceremony was held at the airport, attended by the Airport Manager, Chief Security Officer of the Airport Security Force (ASF), Chief Operating Officer of Air Traffic Control (ATC), PAA officials, AirSial representatives, flight crew, and other airport stakeholders.

“Quetta International Airport has considerable passenger potential, and all allied aeronautical and passenger handling facilities are fully available to support additional flight operations and future network expansion,” the Airport Manager said.
