Passengers’ offloading: LHC seeks reply from FIA

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has sought reply from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and others in response to a petition of a citizen Chaudhry Sheryar against offloading the passengers from the flights.

The court observed that preventing a person from travelling abroad merely on the basis of an administrative decision amounts to a violation of the constitutional right to freedom of movement.

The court said, if a passenger possesses complete documents, he cannot be barred from travelling without following due process.
