ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of the US–Pakistan Business Alliance (USPBA), Choudary Najeeb, along with founding members of the Alliance and MBA students from Yale University, called on Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Shaikh, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.

According to a press release, Choudary Najeeb briefed the ambassador on the upcoming visit of a 35-member Yale MBA delegation and USPBA representatives to Islamabad in the first week of January 2026. This will be the first official US delegation to Pakistan led by USPBA under the leadership of Choudary Najeeb.

According to the shared schedule, the delegation will visit key national institutions, including the National Defence University (NDU), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), the FPCCI, and will hold meetings with Chairman Senate and Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq. The delegation will also participate in the launch ceremony of the US–Pakistan Business Alliance in Islamabad, which will be attended by senior officials from the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, Board of Investment, business leaders, FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh, and senior diplomats from the US Embassy.

“We welcome the Yale University delegation and the leadership of USPBA to Pakistan. Such exchanges play an essential role in strengthening bilateral economic and academic linkages,” Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Shaikh said.

He added, “Pakistan offers vast opportunities in technology, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and innovation. We look forward to constructive interactions that enhance people-to-people ties and build long-term partnerships between the business communities of both countries.”

“This visit marks a milestone for the US–Pakistan Business Alliance,” said Choudary Najeeb. “Our mission is to create meaningful platforms for dialogue, investment, and cooperation. The Yale MBA delegation’s exposure to Pakistan’s economic potential will help reshape perceptions and unlock new avenues for collaboration. The upcoming launch ceremony of USPBA will further institutionalize this partnership.”

Malik Sohail Hussain, Founding Member, Chairman of the Pakistan Chapter of USPBA and President of the Hafizabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries, said, “We are committed to strengthening Pakistan–US commercial relations through structured engagement and by showcasing Pakistan’s real economic strengths.” “This delegation will help build confidence among US investors and students, highlighting Pakistan’s talent, resilience, and emerging opportunities. USPBA will continue to serve as a bridge between the business communities of both countries,” he added.
