The government has decided to launch an AI-based application as a pilot project in Islamabad starting in January to curb illegal immigration.

This decision was made during a meeting chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain.

The interior minister said that through the AI app, authorities will be able to determine in advance which passengers are eligible to travel and which are not.

Once the passports of deported individuals are cancelled, the system will ensure that such individuals are not reissued visas, he said.

Meanwhile, the meeting reviewed actions regarding illegal immigrants and individuals carrying incomplete documentation.

There was detailed discussion on e-driving licences, protector stamps, and immigration matters.

Naqvi further said that a uniform International Driving Licence will be issued by the National Police Bureau and there will be zero tolerance against fake visas and the agent mafia.

“We are in contact with other countries to improve the ranking of the Pakistani passport,” he said.

Minister takes notice of overseas workers being offloaded, orders FIA action

“People using illegal means to travel abroad are damaging the country’s reputation,” he said, and ordered a stricter crackdown against passengers attempting to travel abroad on fake documents.

During the meeting, the overseas minister said that the ministry will fully cooperate with the Ministry of Interior to improve the protector and immigration systems.

Perhaps, if Real Intelligence (RI) was employed n illegal immigrants were asked, they would point out unemployment, rights violation, lawlessness/injustice as reasons for their dream for better life.

@KU, What's Illegal should be stopped! Whoever destroys the name of the mother land should be held accountable!
