KARACHI: BankIslami has launched a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at strengthening public understanding of Islamic banking and promoting the transition toward a Riba-free financial system in Pakistan.

According to the Bank, regional team leaders have begun conducting on-ground awareness and advocacy sessions with officials across the country. These engagements focus on expanding knowledge of Shariah-compliant products and encouraging the adoption of ethical, interest-free financial alternatives.

The initiative has been met with strong public interest, with participants welcoming the opportunity to learn more about Islamic banking principles and discuss the broader economic and social benefits of a Riba-free system.

BankIslami said the program is aligned with its long-term mission to enhance Shariah-compliant financial inclusion nationwide. The Bank intends to continue expanding these outreach activities as part of its vision for a more equitable and resilient financial framework in Pakistan.
